Alternatives Pregnancy Center cares for Denver-area women and men in pregnancy-related crisis and offers them meaningful alternatives to abortion. Following the model of Christian love, they seek to meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of those they serve. They enable and encourage those facing complex circumstances to choose life every day. Alternatives currently provides medical services and counseling in three locations around the Greater Denver area.
Alternatives is poised to continue to thrive and respond to opportunities to expand its ministry and mission. There is particular focus and urgency in the state of Colorado, which has become one of the most legally favorable pro-abortion states in the country. At the same time, the extensive and robust Christian community in the Denver area and throughout the state continues to provide extraordinary spiritual, relational, and financial support to the organization.
Alternatives is seeking a new Executive Director with the ability and vision to lead them into the next phase of service to the Denver metro region and beyond. The Executive Director will be a thoughtful visionary, someone who can envision, articulate, and lead both established and new programs while remaining disciplined in their approach and management style, keeping the team aligned and on mission. Most importantly, the Executive Director will be devoted to the Lord, serving women, men, and families in crisis, and valuing the pre-born.
The Position
The Executive Director has the overall administrative, operational, and public relations responsibility for Alternatives Pregnancy Center. In close collaboration with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be influential in setting the overall strategic vision for Alternatives and responsible for its implementation. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and directly supervises all senior staff.
