McAllen Pregnancy Center is the first Catholic pregnancy center in the Greater McAllen, Texas region. Founded as a small ministry by private donors in 2008 to meet the area’s need for Gospel-based abortion intervention & pregnancy care, the McAllen Pregnancy Center has grown to become the predominant provider for pregnancy care in McAllen. Serving over 3500 individual clients each year in two locations and a mobile clinic, the McAllen Pregnancy Center is committed to continued growth and service to the community.
What makes McAllen Pregnancy Center unique is its Catholic faith, on-site chapel, and commitment to resourcing mothers, fathers, and babies in their clinic and parenting center. With the strategic growth expected to reach further into other areas of the Rio Grande Valley, McAllen Pregnancy Center is in search of the next CEO to lead the ministry to even greater impact in the community. The next CEO will be a practicing Catholic whose faith guides and motivates action to protect the unborn. The next CEO will be an authoritative but relational leader who is skilled in setting the overall ministry vision, setting the strategy, and motivating the team to embrace that vision and work together towards achieving it. This leader will be unafraid to think outside the box and possess a strong business acumen.
With a capable and devoted staff of 18, a gifted, supportive and courageous Board, and growing volunteer and donor base, McAllen Pregnancy Center is poised for continued growth, impact, and ministry to save the unborn and support the growing families of its valley neighbors.
The Position
The Chief Executive Officer has the overall administrative, operational, and public relations responsibility for McAllen Pregnancy Center. In close collaboration with the Board of Directors, the CEO will be influential in setting the overall strategic vision for MPC and will be responsible for its implementation. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and directly supervises all senior staff.

The Community
McAllen, Texas is a central part of the Lower Rio Grande Valley and is known locally as the
“South Pole of Texas.” Boasting its own international airport in the city center with connecting
flights to Austin and Dallas, among other destinations, McAllen is one of the fastest growing
cities in Texas as of 2025. McAllen has also been ranked as the third safest city in Texas and
is appealing for its exceptional affordability. Additionally, McAllen is celebrated for its rich
bicultural heritage, vibrant food scene, arts, and community festivals.
