Senior Pastor - Cherry Hills Community Church

Located in the robust and growing community of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Cherry Hills Community Church is a multigenerational, highly educated congregation with a strong legacy of missional outreach. Cherry Hills, an EPC Church, is seeking a relationally focused Senior Pastor to collaboratively lead them into a new season of unity and growth. With a beautiful facility and a congregation eager to live out the love of Christ, Cherry Hills is poised for an exciting season of ministry. A dynamic teacher with a high level of emotional intelligence and experience leading a staff team, will have the opportunity to participate in casting vision and shepherding a community of believers into even greater kingdom impact.

We believe Jesus has given His church a mission: lives and eternities changed (Matthew 28)! We are also convinced, when we read the pages of Scripture, that Jesus wants His church to be defined by love: love expressed up in worship; love experienced down in discipleship; and love extended out in mission.

At our core, we are all about love.

  • Love Expressed – which is all about God receiving the worship He deserves.

  • Love Experienced – that’s all about helping you grow in experiencing the love of God.

  • Love Extended – which is all about extending the love of God out to those who need it most in mission.

The new Senior Pastor of Cherry Hills will shepherd the congregation, Session and staff team. They will unify and grow the church through prayer and teaching and set the vision in cooperation with the Session. Through authentic and relational leadership, they will foster a community focused on love and unity. As the Senior leader, they will set healthy rhythms of work and rest and ensure that the systems, practices, programs and policies of the church responsibly and effectively support the vision and mission.

  • Vision & Strategy - In collaboration with the staff and Session, give leadership in setting the vision for the church and its ministries. Take the lead in strategic planning for the future.

  • Humility - Confident yet humble leader able to share the spotlight and ministry responsibilities.

  • Collaborator - The ability to authentically, effectively, and enthusiastically work with the Session and others to accomplish the mission of the church.
