Trinity’s membership grew steadily until 1972 when NASA’s Apollo program abruptly ended. Thousands of people left Brevard County and Trinity’s membership dwindled to 40. Yet Trinity held fast to the promises of God and rebuilt the congregation to the 500+ worshippers that today trust Christ alone for salvation.

Trinity is characterized by a deep love for the Word of God built on the back of Life Groups who “do life” together in a warm and friendlier-than-typical church family. In 2012, Trinity Presbyterian Church voted to realign its denominational affiliation with ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. In 2014, the church changed its name to Trinity Wellsprings Church to convey trust in the Triune God who overflows life and love to the world.

In 2017, Rev. Dr. Jason Carter began as the current Senior Pastor after a season of transition and change. Dr. Carter brings a missionary heart to the pastoral task as he spent several years involved in grassroots theological education in Central Africa training pastors and leaders for ministries of the gospel.
