Princeton Meadow Church seeks to continue its 40-year history of engaging the communities of West Windsor Township, Princeton NJ and Mercer County. They are seeking a Senior Pastor who will lead by example beyond their beautiful campus, connecting with neighbors that live and work in the surrounding region. The committed members of this church are eager to mobilize and engage the big questions of life and faith. They desire to love and accept people for who they are and demonstrate compassion through acts of service in their community.
The congregation’s goal and passion is to be faithful to the Gospel and engage Jesus’ call to mission: to be a strong community that is reaching the unchurched with the Gospel and, in doing so, seeing God transform individuals, neighborhoods, and the world. Already responsive to emerging needs in the community, the leadership of this group is committed to sustaining its legacy of engagement through its pre-school, after school child care, chess club, music lessons and event center. Elders and staff have been prayerfully discerning and discussing a new path forward.
The worship space seats over 700 people. The church has an active preschool and after-school child care program with a solid reputation that meets on campus weekdays, as well as a nationally ranked Chess Club and Music lessons. The campus also houses a 250-seat event center suitable for hosting wedding receptions and many other events. The space is widely utilized by the surrounding community.
Vision & Values
Princeton Meadow is a congregation committed to the gospel of
Jesus Christ. They affirm the inherent dignity and value of all persons because they are created by God in his likeness, but humanity is also fallen and sinful - alienated from God and his love. This alienation is the root or heart of personal, relational and social problems. The good news of Jesus is that God has not allowed sin to have the last word over human life and existence. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we can experience forgiveness and new life, which begins as we connect with the
person of Jesus by faith.
Princeton Meadow is a community that takes scripture seriously, and strives to understand and apply its teaching to our lives personally and as the community of God’s people. Missionary and Pastor Lesslie Newbigin reminds us that the church is the “sign, foretaste and instrument” of the kingdom of God through which God invites us to know Christ, experience the healing of his presence and extend the same to others. Princeton Meadow exists within this movement of the gospel to cultivate community that remembers the past with thanksgiving, reaches out in love and service, anticipates the future with hope and lives in the present in peace.
