Director of Student Ministries - Bay Presbyterian Church

June 11, 2019

Bay Presbyterian (EPC) Church seeks a Student Ministries Director passionate about middle and high school students and eager to go outside of the church building to engage relationally with students not connected to any community of faith.

This historically-strong youth ministry seeks to continue its reputation of introducing students to a relationship with Jesus, nurturing faith in the students of attending families at BPC and developing future leaders for the church and the community.

In a season of growing momentum in student ministries, BPC is eager for energy and stability in a position that has turned over serval times in the past three years and someone eager to work with a recently-called Senior Pastor’s vision for discipleship evangelism.

The Church

CENTERED ON CHRIST

SHAPED IN COMMUNITY

SENT INTO THE WORLD

Bay Presbyterian Church is a community of 1700 members that faithfully calls and equips people to follow Jesus fully. They focus on loving God, loving others, and making disciples. True to its founding as a Sunday School for children over a century ago, BPC places a special value on children, marriages and families. BPC is seeking to become less a church with small groups and more of a church of small groups.

The church participates in various local ministries that invite membership to participate in evangelism efforts and engage with the most pressing needs in the greater Cleveland area. They actively partner with individuals and organizations engaged in global mission.

It is a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) denomination with a $3.2 million operating budget, an urban-based family ministry center and an onsite preschool. On average, 240 students attend Sunday childrens and youth programs.

Despite this rebirth, Cleveland and Northeastern Ohio continues to be remarkably affordable for families to live in and thrive.
