Sun River Church is a diverse and endearing congregation located in the greater Sacramento area at the intersection of several of California’s varied communities. As a missional and relationally focused community, the members of Sun River are committed to reaching people with the love of Jesus. Poised for exponential growth, Sun River seeks someone to lead the vision while equipping and aligning the staff and congregation to capitalize on their incredible potential for Kingdom impact both inside and outside of the church.

Sun River’s current missional focus flows from a heart of service, which actively meets the needs of others, especially those outside of the church. The people of Sun River are generous with their time, talents and resources. This allows for a greater impact in local and global communities than would be expected for a church of its size.
Ministry opportunities are offered for church members of all ages. Missions, small groups, men’s and women’s Bible Studies, vibrant children’s and youth programs are all working to build a healthy spiritual community. The members of Sun River genuinely enjoy gathering together.
